This week was pretty good, we had our Mission Leadership Council, and
then Zone Training on Friday. I trained on being a worthy Vessel For
the Holy Ghost. It was a good successful training, the spirit was so
strong, and I loved every minute of it. The work in Lenexa is
challenging, but it's all about how you look at things. The spirit is
the teacher, I am the tool. Be Good, be worthy, and do what needs to
be done and I won't need to worry if inspiration is coming. Creating
success all depends on Attitude.
I bible bashed with some sweet black ladies this week, we had a good
time. Of course we weren't actually bashing, only joking. But we were
able to teach them the restoration, and clear a lot of false crap out
of their minds. It's always a success when that happens.
Met Jeremy Guthrie; he's a pitcher from the KC Royals, but he's
actually a free Agent right now, looking for another contract. He came
and spoke to the youth about missions, and over coming adversity. He's
a great, and humble man.
I went to the doctor this week, and he wants to check my blood because
I've been pretty drowsy lately. So we will see what that's about in a
couple of weeks, no need for alarm.
We found a new way of proselyting this week. We would go to McDonald's
and kick it for about 10 minutes, and then watch as the teenage kids,
and you adults would file in. They would kinda stare at us, and then
before you knew it, they would come up to us and start asking
questions. Weirdest moments, but the greats!
I got threatened by a Marine this week. It's okay, he was old and over
weight, I could out run him. I love the big meant head though. We have
a return appointment with him lol
I can't believe Cody returns home tomorrow! It feels so weird! Tell
him his drums are at Jerry Mcguires house. Also, tell him not to swan
dive. That's all.
Love ya!
